Mission statement and goal

Our goal is to glorify God by reaching out to churches across America with encouragement through the Holy Spirit. Each church will have different needs and there is no rule book, only the Word of God, and his Holy Spirit leading us. We are to be obedient even when we are not sure of the outcome. Most of all we are to love God with all our heart, souls and minds and to love others.

On Mission in America will not be just Gary, Collette and Shelby Uhler. There will be opportunities for others to join us as God gives them the same calling and vision. Ways that others could join is prayer, financial or services with the gifts God has given you.

In preparation God showed us that we must put on the full armor of God….

Ephesians 6:10-18

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

We believe that any crisis, including the current economic crisis that we face can bring about good in the lives of God’s people by causing us to trust in God alone for our security.

2 Corinthians 1:8-11 

"We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us from mortal danger and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety."

Encouragement, according to dictionary.com means to inspire with courage, spirit, or confidence also to promote, advance, or foster. The word inspire according to dictionary.com means to communicate or suggest by a divine or supernatural influence.

Why are we to encourage?

Romans 15:4 (NIV)

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Mission Confirmation Verse

Mathew 28:19-20

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you."

How will we know which church to go to?

We believe God will prepare a way for us to do His Will and that we will clearly hear Him. Where He leads, we will gladly  follow.
